A security company focused on simplifying cyber security workflows for practitioners.
The world of Cyber Security is broad and deeply technical in nature. We’re simplifying cyber security by tackling the following areas:
The journey to find and implement the right security solution can often be an arduous one. Too often, there is a gap between the initial promise of a product and the reality of its performance, and there is an expectation that engineering effort must be done to achieve use cases. We believe in narrowing that gap, ensuring that expectations are met with consistent, high-standard results that respect the buyer’s time and technical needs.
As the industry has moved toward universal “all-in-one” coverage, the technical depth required to solve specific problems is often spread thin. While broad coverage is needed, it can sometimes lead to a “check-the-box” approach that lacks the precision necessary for modern threats. We are dedicated to bringing depth back to the forefront of security, prioritizing high-fidelity answers over superficial breadth.
The security ecosystem has seen a steady rise in both the cost and complexity of established platforms. As these systems grow larger and more entrenched, the operational burden on security teams often grows with them. Blue Lantern is exploring a more streamlined path, focusing on delivering maximum utility without the overhead typically associated with traditional, large-scale deployments.
Blue Lantern Security is a product focused company. Our goal is to change how security products are delivered to users. We want to offer quick access to products without the arduous sales cycle. Visit our product page and sign up right away to see what security use cases you can tackle today.
Our founders come from a background of computer science, cyber security, and business. We like to get hands on with our problem solving and get work done.

Will comes from a background of engineering, consulting, and building startups. Previously he helped build Longbow Security which was ultimately acquired by Veracode and transformed into Veracode Risk Manager. At Veracode Will worked as a product manager before founding Blue Lantern. Prior to his work in product, Will was a security engineer and consultant, where he implemented, integrated, and built products in the security space to tackle business challenges.

Andrew spent nearly a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Electric Power & Natural Gas research team across the Americas, specializing in digital technologies and drone applications for utilities. Before McKinsey, he cut his teeth in corporate finance at GE and Synchrony, learning gold-standard reporting practices and enterprise risk management. He co-founded Blue Lantern to bring that same rigor to cybersecurity tooling.
